Marathon de Dakar

Project Background

Mission:

For the inaugural edition of the Dakar Marathon, Everest Media, based in Geneva, Switzerland, sought to achieve full online visibility. They also required a robust, technical website capable of live-tracking and displaying participant rankings during the event.

Goals

The primary objectives included:

Selling 23,000 tickets for various race categories: marathon, half-marathon, 10km, and 5km.

Ensuring comprehensive coverage of the two-day event to engage audiences and create a lasting impact.

Solution:

To meet these goals, we developed a multi-faceted strategy that included:

Website Development: We created a dynamic and user-friendly website equipped with real-time tracking features to display participant rankings during the race.

Social Media Management: We established and managed active accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.

These platforms were leveraged for targeted ad campaigns, which played a significant role in driving ticket sales and boosting event visibility.

Team Training: We conducted personalized training sessions for the client’s team, enabling them to convert offline visitors into online fans and followers, fostering long-term audience engagement.

Results : 

  • Ticket Sales: All tickets were sold, achieving 100% capacity for the event.

  • Social Media Growth: A total of 47,000 followers were gained across various social media platforms.

  • Website Performance: The robust website, featuring real-time results display, operated flawlessly throughout the event.

  • User Reach: Over 3 million users were engaged across digital channels, amplifying the event's visibility and success.

l'Adresse Real Estate Network - Paris

Project Background

Mission:

L'Adresse Real Estate is a network of 350 agencies across France, structured as a cooperative, where all agencies within the network are business partners. In 2013, they entrusted me with the mission of organizing and enhancing their social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter). Additionally, my role included training individual agencies to effectively utilize their social media channels at a local level.

Goals:

  1. Increase Brand Visibility: Strengthen the social media presence of the L'Adresse network to align with their overall business and marketing strategies.

  2. Agency Support and Training: Provide comprehensive training to all agencies, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to manage their local social media accounts effectively.

  3. Tailored Social Media Solutions: Offer advanced support to individual agencies looking to take their social media efforts to the next level.

Results : 

The impact of our collaboration has been significant:

> Facebook: Now boasts over 54,000 fans.
> Instagram: Grown to 5,300 followers.
> LinkedIn: Surpassed 10,000 fans.

Reach: Annually, we engage with over 6 million users across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Moreover, more than 70% of the real estate agencies within the network are now actively using social media to boost their local businesses. Through continuous training and support, we empower members daily to effectively leverage digital platforms, driving both local and network-wide growth.
